BUFFALO, WV---Toyota Motor Co.’s power train assembly plant here has ramped up production of a fifth-generation hybrid transaxle that will be used in Camry and Corolla Cross vehicles.

SAN ANTONIO—Toyota is investing $531 million to expand its assembly plant here. The project will add a new 500,000-square-foot facility for the production of drivetrain parts, and it will create more than 400 new jobs.

HUNTSVILLE, AL—Toyota Motor Co. is investing $282 million to increase production at its engine assembly plant here. The automaker is also adding more than 350 new jobs at the plant.

Toyota Material Handling is investing nearly $100 million to build a new facility that will assemble battery-powered forklifts.

PRINCETON, IN—Toyota will invest $1.4 billion in its assembly plant here to build a new, three-row, battery-electric SUV. The project is expected to add 340 new jobs at the factory.

PRINCETON, IN—Toyota Indiana celebrated a major milestone today as the plant started production of the first-ever Lexus TX, an all-new, three-row luxury SUV. The 2024 TX is the first Lexus SUV to be assembled in the U.S., and the first Lexus for Toyota Indiana.

LONG BEACH, CA—Toyota Motor North America will invest $27 million to increase production at its assembly plant here.

GEORGETOWN, KY—Toyota Motor North America will add 220 new positions to its production engineering division, which serves as the go-between for design and manufacturing. The additional support will increase Toyota’s capacity to use innovative engineering technology to design and build assembly plants, equipment and processes across its operations.
