The Shop-Floor Telescope is used as a base for lifting and lowering assembly fixtures and work tables in industrial applications. It has a low base height and the long strokes. Maximum lifting force ranges from 1,000 and 2,000 newtons. Stroke length ranges from 300 to 1,000 millimeters.
The device comes in hydraulic and electromechanical versions. With the hydraulic unit, the stroke movement is generated by a hydraulic cylinder and a piston pump that is manually operated with a lever. During retraction, the oil returns due to the weight of the load. With the electric unit, the lifting motion is generated by an electric motor with a spindle lifting gear. Movement is controlled by a foot switch or a touch control. The latter has a memory function that stories positions.
